About the Position

2174SG - Short Locum Position for NP or PA, Remote Location, Work for a Month, Earn over $26,000!

This is a great position working occupational health in remote Northwest Alaska, making $1100 per day. The position will require a seasoned, flexible primary care provider, who has trauma/ER experience with an Alaska Professional License.  This is an in-clinic and emergency call position. Clinic is open 12 hours per day during the work week, and provider will take 24/7 call for emergencies while on site.

DATES: 5/16 to 6/9 

OVERVIEW: 

• Primary Care and ER Experience as a solo provider required.
• Must be able to stabilize and export patients from this remote area.
• Clinic open Mon-Fri, 12 hours
• 24/7 Emergency Call
• Patient volume: 0 – 5 patients in clinic for primary care, varies for emergencies

COMPENSATION DETAILS: 

• $1100 per day for every day the provider is on assignment 
• 1 travel day to and from assignment will be paid at $1100 per day 
• 1099 Contractor Position
• Medical Malpractice Insurance is Provided
• Housing and Travel Expenses included 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Active NP or PA License with State of Alaska
• ACLS Required, ATLS Preferred, UA and Breathalyzer certifications preferred.
• Minimum 2 years emergency experience as an NP or PA required.
• Experience working in a remote setting required
• 2 years minimum solo experience/comfortable working in a remote environment with minimal staff required
• Passion for remote healthcare!
